Supplier Quality Sr. Manager (remote)

About the role

This role will manage sourcing and supplier priorities that improve value, reliability, and operational performance. You will partner with finance, operations, legal, and business stakeholders to negotiate effectively, manage vendors, and support better purchasing decisions. The position offers the opportunity to improve cost discipline, supplier performance, and the processes that support scalable execution within a Aerospace & Defense environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $132,400 – $251,600 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to implement Supplier Quality & Development initiatives
• Engage key suppliers' leadership to drive improvement programs
• Guide development of new processes to enhance current systems
• Execute long-term strategies for large-scale operations
• Establish and manage short- to medium-term operational plans
• Analyze quality data and address supplier-specific quality issues
• Maintain quality processes and strive for sustained improvements

Qualifications

• University degree required; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum 10 years experience or 7 years with advanced degree
• 5+ years experience in supply chain or manufacturing operations
• 3+ years leadership experience managing direct reports
• 5+ years experience in project or contract management
