About the role
As a Supplier Performance Manager within the APx Supply Chain Turbine Island Major Equipment team, you will lead a multinational work group responsible for technical supplier assessment, development, and oversight of suppliers delivering direct and complex material to Westinghouse (Mechanical, Electrical, and I&C). This hybrid role reports to the Delivery Stream WBS Director.
Responsibilities
- Provide oversight and direction to a distributed team of engineers and technologists located in North America, Europe, and Asia.
- Recruit new talent for long-term needs, including interns/co-ops and new hire engineers and technologists.
- Prepare and implement training plans to develop the next generation of engineers and ensure future talent strength.
- Ensure resources are trained, qualified, and supporting Supplier Selection and Development.
- Identify engineering priorities by assessing project goals, execution time, and implementation costs.
- Lead the engineering team in reviewing technical documents, overseeing suppliers, managing supplier scorecards, and ensuring supplier readiness for operations.
- Develop Oversight Plans for major equipment supplier manufacturing.
- Incorporate best practices, lessons learned, and improvements to enhance project performance and margins.
- Provide the management team with status updates, feedback, and action plans by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing engineering data and trends.
- Engage with external customers, partners, and Westinghouse senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical/I&C Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical production and manufacturing discipline (or equivalent business experience).
- 5+ years of experience with Pressurized Equipment Manufacturing and Regulation.
- Minimum 10 years of strong and progressively more responsible leadership experience.
- Experience managing engineering teams is preferred.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $130,400 to $163,000 per year, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills. No relocation assistance is provided.
