About the role
The Supplier Performance and Logistics Finance Associate Director position offers a high visibility opportunity to help lead Raytheon OSCQ efforts to accelerate and scale production in the context of a supply-constrained defense market.
Responsibilities
- Provide analytical support to Supplier Performance Excellence and Logistics teams
- Accelerate material into Raytheon’s factories by supporting near-term investment initiatives such as expedite agreements, capacity investment incentives, supplier CORE engagements, etc
- Financially enable acceleration incentives on all critically constrained backlog material evaluating economic considerations from the supplier’s point of view and Raytheon ROIL
- Lead small business capacity risk mitigation and investment workstream
- Identify and implement opportunities to accelerate material backlog in partnership with OSCQ Strategy Finance, S&OP, OSCQ SBU Finance
- Provide budgetary support to Supplier Performance Excellence and Logistics functions including Forecast, AOP, LRP, Pool EACs (direct, indirect, CER pools)
- Monitor warehouse and transportation utilization and proactively model volume-driven Logistics’ financial needs
- Support Supplier Engineering and Supplier Quality activities with ad hoc financial / data modeling including external supplier engagement as necessary
- Act as a strategic business partner for ad hoc financial / data modeling needs
- Highly motivated and take initiative, proactively identifying opportunities to accelerate material into Raytheon’s factories
- Able to proactively drive financial performance including identifying key success enablers for Operations and other down-stream functions
- Able to influence without authority and build consensus among executive-level stakeholders
- Must be willing to travel to suppliers, work with embedded Raytheon Engineering and Quality support
- Able to lead others in turning complex data into clear insights that drive action
Qualifications
- You Must Have:
- A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or
- An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience.
- Experience in analytical, problem-solving, modeling, and executive communication skills
- Experience supporting supply chain, operations, or manufacturing environments
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- We Prefer:
- Higher education in Finance, business, or related field
- Negotiations experience in Supply Chain or related field
- Strategic deal experience
- Proven ability to create broad-based consensus through influential communication
