SUPPLEMENTAL ONLY- GIRLS SOCCER (HEAD COACH)

Position Goal

The Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions are available at Plantation High.

Essential Performance Responsibilities

• Develop and implement coaching strategies for the sport.
• Provide instruction and guidance to student athletes.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant rules and regulations.
• Maintain a positive and safe environment for all participants.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Standard high school diploma or GED.
• Valid Florida Educator Certificate (required for the Head Coach).
• Knowledge of the sport and ability to teach it.
• Computer skills as required for the position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Experience coaching the sport.
• Previous administrative experience in athletics.
• Leadership skills and ability to motivate students.

Physical Requirements

Physical requirements may include standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive motions.

Terms of Employment

• Temporary/Subs work calendar.
• Nonexempt classification.
• New Hire Teacher Salary and Classroom Monitor Hourly Rate information available upon request.

Skills

Specific skills required include knowledge of the sport, ability to teach, and computer proficiency.

Competencies

Key competencies include effective communication, leadership, and team management.

Certifications

Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education is required for the Head Coach.
