Position Goal
The Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions at Boyd H. Anderson High School are responsible for leading and managing athletic teams in accordance with state regulations and school policies.
Essential Performance Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training programs for athletes.
- Manage team logistics including scheduling practices and games.
- Provide guidance and support to athletes to improve their performance and sportsmanship.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant rules and regulations.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to enhance team performance.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Standard high school diploma or GED.
- Valid Florida Educator Certificate (required for the Head Coach).
- Knowledge of the sport and ability to impart this knowledge.
- Computer skills as required for the position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience coaching at the high school level.
- Previous administrative experience in athletics.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
Physical Requirements
Positions require physical stamina and the ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed.
