SUPPLEMENTAL ONLY- BOYS & GIRLS SWIMMING (HEAD COACH)

Position Goal

The Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions are available at NE High School in Oakland Park.

Essential Performance Responsibilities

• Develop and implement coaching strategies and practices aligned with the school's mission and values.
• Provide instruction and guidance to students in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health standards.
• Collaborate with other staff members to enhance student learning experiences.
• Maintain accurate records and reports as required by the school administration.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• Standard high school diploma or GED.
• A valid Florida Educator Certificate for the Head Coach.
• Knowledge of the sport/activity and ability to teach it.
• Computer skills as required for the position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Experience coaching at the high school level.
• Previous administrative experience in athletics.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, carrying, and moving equipment and supplies.

• Temporary/Subs work calendar.
• Nonexempt classification.

Effective communication, teamwork, and organizational skills are essential.

Competencies

Ability to manage time effectively, maintain confidentiality, and adhere to policies and procedures.

Certifications

Valid Florida Educator Certificate for the Head Coach.
