SUPPLEMENTAL ONLY- BOYS SOCCER (ASSISTANT COACH)
Position Goal
The Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions are available at NE High School in Oakland Park.
Essential Performance Responsibilities
- Develop and implement training programs for athletes.
- Manage team practices and games, ensuring adherence to rules and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to athletes, including performance feedback and motivational strategies.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to enhance team dynamics and overall performance.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Standard high school diploma or GED.
- Valid Florida Educator Certificate for the Head Coach.
- Knowledge of the sport and ability to teach it effectively.
- Computer skills as required for the position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience coaching at the high school level.
- Previous administrative experience in athletics.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, carrying, and moving equipment, as well as standing, walking, and bending.
