About the Role

Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions are available for high school athletic programs.

Responsibilities

• Impart knowledge of the sport to participants.
• Ensure compliance with Florida State Statutes and school district policies.
• Demonstrate computer skills as required for the position.

Requirements

• Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program.
• For Head Coach: Valid Florida Educator Certificate or Athletic Coaching Certificate from the Florida Department of Education.
• Knowledge of the sport and ability to teach it effectively.

Pay

Compensation follows the district’s new-hire teacher salary schedule for Head Coaches and hourly rate schedule for Classroom Monitors (Assistant Coaches).
