About the role

Serve as a key manager, providing advice and assistance to the Garrison Commander, and top management officials of installation and tenant activities.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the work of an organization that is responsible for compliance with all applicable environmental, natural, cultural, and archaeological federal, state and local laws.
  • Oversee the administration and management of the base support contract for engineering, housing, and logistical activities.
  • Administer the contracts for architecture and design, engineering, housing and logistical activities.

Requirements

  • Conditions of employment: Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Security clearance: Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY): Business travel requirement of 5% of the time.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with coursework in engineering sciences and techniques.
  • Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes leading a team or working group in a scientific/engineering program or project, conducting strategic engineering program/project planning for allocation of resources, overseeing the administration of support contracts, and developing policy and functional guidance for engineering activities.
