About the role
The 50th Civil Engineering Squadron is seeking a Supervisory General Engineer (NH-0801-04) to support mission success at Schriever SFB, CO. This role requires serving a 1-year probationary period and offers a salary range of $129,096 to $197,200 per year (including locality pay).
Responsibilities
- Plans and assigns work to subordinates, evaluates performance, and provides guidance.
- Manages and directs engineering activities, including program development, project design, construction management, and technical support.
- Represents the Engineering Flight in internal and external communications, resolving issues, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Oversees project programming, planning, energy management, design, and construction execution, ensuring regulatory compliance and facility requirements are met.
- Analyzes statistical and program data to track effectiveness, plan improvements, and inform senior leadership.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship: Required.
- Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- Professional License: Registration or license as a Professional engineer or Registered Architect is highly desired.
- Education: Degree accredited by ABET or combination of education and experience (General Engineering Series 0801 Qualification Standards).
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of multidisciplinary professional engineering theories, concepts, principles, standards, methods, techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Knowledge of planning and program management, common business and economic principles, financial management principles, and DoD PPBS.
- Knowledge of safety, security, personnel management, and EEO regulations, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to analyze, plan, organize, and direct work operations to meet program requirements and objectives with available resources; mentor, motivate, and appraise staff.
