Duties
- Responsible for analysis and monitoring the space management of all facilities
- Recommend approval of all alterations, relocations, and renovations
- Provide leadership and management skills to the division
- Plan and set priorities and assigns special projects
- Interface with key officials and top facilities management personnel
- Serve as the ATC spokesperson at conferences
- Responsible for the planning, development and analysis of the Commands Military Construction Army (MCA) program
- Ensure proposed space is in an acceptable location, and that the building will accommodate requirements.
Qualifications
- One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02/ GS-11 grade level in the Federal service which includes (1)Directing building maintenance and repair operations, (2)Managing facility projects and evaluating designs, submittals, and/or contractor work quality, and (3)Developing long term plans for renovation, construction, and demolition.
Specialized Experience Requirement
- Level of competency in the following areas: Facilities Management, Leadership, Oral Communication, Project Planning, Design, and Construction.

- Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
