Supervisor Warehouse
About the role
The Supervisor Warehouse is responsible for overseeing the physical material flow in the plant, ensuring that customer orders are shipped on time and incoming materials are received and stored correctly.
Responsibilities
- Directs the record keeping of receiving and distribution of goods (production material) in the warehouse.
- Evidences the flow of goods within the plant.
- Maintains monthly deadlines for warehouse management.
- Collaborates on resolving complaints and managing inventory.
- Updates stock levels for Material coordinators.
- Works independently and collaborates with the entire Manufacturing & Logistics (M/L) department.
- Fulfills work instructions and adheres to warehouse management procedures.
- Cooperates in fulfilling cost and turnover plans.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in materials / warehouse management, including experience managing people.
- 1-3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
- Able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which may require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
Qualifications
Essential qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may also be considered.
Skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are required.
