About the role
The Transportation Supervisor provides direct supervision for a group of assigned Drivers. They are responsible for ensuring safe, timely, and accurate deliveries through effective use of multi-stop routing systems and dispatch procedures. Key responsibilities include reviewing driver logs, hours of service, and DOT requirements to maintain compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Achieve safe, timely, and accurate deliveries via thorough knowledge of multi-stop routing systems and dispatch procedures.
- Review driver logs, hours of service, and other DOT requirements to ensure compliance with all state, local, and federal regulations.
- Cookordination activities with other distribution center departments to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
- Coordinate special projects as assigned by the position supervisor.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
- At least 1 year of transportation management experience in the food distribution industry is required.
- Knowledgeable about DOT regulations is essential.
- AS/400 experience is preferred.
- Truck routing software experience is preferred.
- Basic competency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word) is required.
- The ability to work a varied and flexible schedule is necessary.
- The ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely is required.
Qualifications

Pay
$70,000 to $75,000 per year. This role is also eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan with a target incentive of 10% of your base annual salary.
Schedule
Full-time. Works Sunday-Thursday, 12pm-10pm.
