Supervisor, Specialized Instruction - Cluster School Support - 250 Day
Job Summary
This position supports students with disabilities to provide FAPE in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) by working with school-based administrators, staff, and families to build knowledge and skills that ensure high-quality specially designed instruction for each student, and procedural compliance as per federal, state, local, and school division regulations and expectations. This position also plans and provides professional learning for all employees who work with students with disabilities including administrators, teachers, teacher assistants and other employees. Additionally, this position leads, advises, evaluates, recommends, and creates system-wide support to achieve the PWCS Strategic Plan priorities, values, and goals through collaboration with others across the school system and county for this work. This position provides direct supervision to assigned staff and supports departmental budgeting and spending.

Requirements
- Master's degree in special education or related field
- Valid Virginia teaching license or ability to obtain one
- Experience working with students with disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
