Supervisor-Revenue Cycle

Job Summary

The Revenue Cycle Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operation of the department.

Responsibilities

• Creating and implementing policies that ensure the accuracy of credits on patient accounts.
• Overseeing the staff of the revenue cycle department.
• Managing work queues and staff work flows.
• Communicating with insurance providers and reviewing policy changes for payers.
• Analyzing credit accounts and working with Manager on trends causing credits on an account.
• Managing staff performance by providing regular feedback, performance reviews, and one-on-one meetings.
• Train new staff along with the department manager.
• Work with the department manager on staff production and quality.
• Train staff on any performance issues.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year experience.
• Skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency.
• Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
• Experience in Epic or other practice management systems.

Qualifications

• Previous Lead or Supervisory experience within revenue cycle or contract variance.
