This role provides supervision of night shift Respiratory Care staff, including RC techs and RRTs, supporting the manager with hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance oversight. They are responsible for ordering and monitoring respiratory supplies and equipment, ensuring proper inventory and maintenance. Qualifications include: a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields or Respiratory Therapy, along with licensure as an RRT and RCP, and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP. Work experience: a minimum of 3+ years in respiratory therapy. Key responsibilities: coaching and developing staff, fostering a positive team culture, ensuring adequate staffing, enforcing service standards, addressing conflicts with empathy, and participating in quality improvement data collection. They evaluate clinical care, manage inventory, ensure equipment functionality, and serve as a clinical role model. Department-specific duties: supporting staff through orientation, providing clinical assistance, reviewing staffing, assisting with evaluations, stocking supplies, and participating in special projects. The role emphasizes leadership, clinical expertise, communication, and organizational skills to ensure high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.
