About the role

The Supervisor of Radiology Scheduling is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the radiology scheduling contact center. Responsibilities include direct oversight of radiology schedulers, performance evaluation, coaching, and monitoring of production and quality. Additionally, the role involves being a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in scheduling, collaborating with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Direct oversight of radiology schedulers, including performance evaluation, coaching, and monitoring of production and quality.
• SME level knowledge of scheduling, collaboration with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience as a scheduler, call center staffer, or other similar customer service role, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Comprehensive understanding of medical patient scheduling and transcription functions.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Word and MS Excel.
• Ability to learn and understand complex information systems at the user level.
• Knowledge of CPT coding terminology.
