Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily operations and staff within the radiology department to ensure safe, high-quality imaging services and optimal patient care.
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Coordinating workflow.
• Supporting staff development to promote operational reliability and patient safety.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
• Aligning job responsibilities with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.
• Oversee daily operations of the radiology department, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal resource utilization.
• Supervise, schedule, and coordinate activities of radiologic technologists and support staff.
• Provide training, orientation, and ongoing competency assessment for imaging staff.
• Monitor imaging quality and ensure compliance with established protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other departments to support patient care and service delivery.
• Ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort throughout all radiologic procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards
