Supervisor Production - Corrugated Industry

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the safety, quality, training, development, and productivity of personnel on their shift within the corrugated industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the cutting, finishing, and forming departments.
• Effectively manage the department for safe and efficient operation.
• Assess the performance and training of operating personnel and determine areas for improvement.
• Provide training, development, and feedback for personnel.
• Analyze department performance data to identify ongoing improvement opportunities.
• Enforce safe work practices and lead daily safety discussions.
• Provide quality direction to personnel.
• Lead monthly department meetings, including quality, productivity, process improvements, and safety.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong technical skills.
• Ability to develop and influence personnel.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Ability to solve process and production issues independently.
• Experience with lean manufacturing techniques.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and computer knowledge.
• Must be able to work specified shift time, with some weekend work.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
• Experience in the production manufacturing industry is a plus.
