About the Role

As a Supervisor Physician Assistant in Transplant Surgery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, you will lead a team of Physician Assistants while maintaining a clinical practice. This role combines supervision, including work direction, assignments, scheduling, performance evaluations, and addressing personnel concerns, with hands-on patient care in a fast-paced, high-quality environment at one of New York’s top-ranked hospitals.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a group of Physician Assistants, providing work direction, assignments, and scheduling.
  • Prepare performance evaluations and address personnel concerns.
  • Work a clinical complement of shifts, including days, weekends, and holidays.
  • Practice evidence-based medicine in a collaborative, autonomous team environment.
  • Contribute to improving the patient care experience in transplant surgery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies.
  • Five years of previous Physician Assistant experience.
  • Current New York State licensure.
  • NCCPA certification.
  • Inpatient transplant surgery experience (preferred).

Schedule

This position requires three 12.5-hour rotating shifts, including days, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

Salary range: $184,000–$220,800 annually.
