Supervisor, Operation

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Counsels, mentors, and guides Supervisors and lead team members.
• Partners with Operations Management to support operational planning, staffing strategies, and workload forecasting.
• Proactively identifies operational risks, trends, and improvement opportunities and develops action plans.
• Ensures consistent execution of SOPs, safety standards, and quality requirements across teams.
• Drives achievement of productivity, service, safety, and financial KPIs.
• Supports cost control initiatives and leads continuous improvement projects.
• Acts as a primary escalation point for complex employee relations, performance, or operational issues.
• Supports workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development activities.
• Supports implementation of new processes, systems, or client requirements.
• Communicates effectively with senior leadership and client representatives on operational performance and risks.
• Reviews operational data and metrics to guide decision-making.
• Supports audits, compliance reviews, and corrective action plans.
• Assists in physical operations as needed to ensure service continuity.

Skills & Abilities

• Advanced MHE knowledge and certifications preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• RF Scanners and WMS functions.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to accomplish job tasks in a timely manner.
• Good organizational and personnel skills.
• Good communication skills, both written and oral.
• Good leadership, supervision, and planning skills.
• Able to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends, as required by the operation.
• Able to effectively adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-paced work environment.

Pay

Information regarding DSV’s benefits offerings, including eligibility, coverage options, and plan details, is available through the DSV Benefits Showcase. The expected base pay range for this position is $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 Annual. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
