Job Description

Shifts weekly from 6 PM - 6 AM.
Rounds and assesses patient care units to evaluate patient conditions, identify staffing needs, and provide support to caregivers.
Advises and directs nursing personnel, responds to Code Blue situations, and manages clinical emergencies.
Acts as liaison for patient movement and bed assignments, promoting cost-effective management of staffing, equipment, and supplies.
Represents nursing administration during off-shifts, authorizes consent or treatment during admissions, and serves as incident commander for disasters.
Fosters exceptional patient experiences through compassionate communication and effective relationships with patients, visitors, staff, and leadership.

Education

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
• Master's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience

• 2+ years leadership experience as an assistant nurse manager and/or nurse manager or equivalent (i.e. charge nurse, chair nursing practice council, cn3, cn4) [Preferred]
• 2+ years staff nurse experience PCU and ICU [Required]

Licenses And Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
