About the role

The Nursing Leader provides supervision of the daily operation of the St. Louis Park Internal Medicine Clinic, ensuring goals and objectives are met through effective management of programs, procedures, and support personnel. They utilize a systematic approach to nursing practice, emphasizing assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the St. Louis Park Internal Medicine Clinic, ensuring all goals and objectives are achieved.
• Utilize a systematic approach to nursing practice, incorporating assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation, and evaluation.
• Foster an environment where team members feel valued, engaged, and supported in their daily work.
• Lead by example, demonstrating core values of professionalism, positivity, and collaboration.
• Partner closely with providers and staff to ensure efficient clinic operations and exceptional patient-centered care.
• Build and sustain a strong clinic culture by promoting teamwork, recognizing accomplishments, coaching and developing staff, and setting clear expectations.
• Create a high-performing team dedicated to meeting the needs of the Burnsville Primary Care patient population and delivering an outstanding care experience.

Requirements

• Graduate from a course of study in nursing resulting in an associate degree, diploma, or baccalaureate degree.
• At least one year related supervisory experience or three years related non-supervisory experience.
• Current state Registered Nursing License.
• BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines.

Qualifications

• Prior leadership experience in a clinic setting is preferred.

Effective communication skills, ability to lead and motivate a team, and proficiency in managing clinic operations are essential.
