About the role

The Supervisor - News & Gourmet will assist the store manager in creating a positive environment that delivers fast, efficient, and friendly service to ensure a Signature Experience for guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store manager in maintaining a positive work environment
• Support training initiatives for team members
• Ensure excellent guest service is provided at all times
• Enhance product knowledge among staff members
• Encourage and enforce safe work practices
• Supervise and support sales associates/baristas
• Act as the manager on duty in the absence of the store manager
• Uphold company policies and procedures
• Contribute to a positive team culture and work environment
• Monitor inventory levels and participate in ordering processes.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Some college education preferred
• Previous experience in a supervisory role in the retail or hospitality industry
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support team members
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of inventory management and point-of-sale systems
• Commitment to providing exceptional customer service
• Understanding of food and beverage products is a plus
