Supervisor, Manufacturing - 2nd Shift
About the role
The Supervisor, Manufacturing role is based in Stuart, FL and operates from 3 PM to 1 AM Monday to Thursday, with Friday hours varying based on business needs. This position requires up to 5% travel for visits to other company sites, suppliers, or industry events.
Responsibilities
- Ensures the training of all employees assigned to his/her shift.
- Ensures production priorities are met.
- Ensures quality requirements are established and met.
- Ensures equipment is maintained and operational.
- Ensures necessary supplies are available to employees.
- Responsible for personnel activities during his/her shift.
- Maintains productivity records and reports them in a timely manner.
- Maintains employee attendance at a satisfactory level.
- Responsible for employee discipline and attendance.
- Maintains a business-like, productive, and disciplined work environment.
- Supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in geometric tolerancing.
- Has the necessary computer skills and is familiar with Lean Manufacturing.
- Ability to work well with people and possess the skills in problem solving, situation assessment, and conflict resolution.
Working Conditions
- Regularly uses hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- Frequently stands, walks, reaches with hands and arms, stoops, or crouches.
- Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to fifty (50) pounds.
