Manufacturing Supervisor, 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production, packing, ingredient processing, and take the lead in safety and quality.
• Ensure compliance with GMP’s and the Food Safety Plan.
• Drive continuous improvement in key areas such as cost, quality, service, people, and environment.
• Communicate and coordinate with other supervisors and functions to optimize operations and resources.
• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production schedules to meet customer requirements and production goals.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance Department for preventative maintenance.
• Lead Continuous Improvement/Total Manufacturing Management (TMM) processes.
• Engage employees, work teams, and utilize technology to achieve world-class line efficiencies.
• Coach and develop employees, and where appropriate, peers.
• Provide clear and timely performance feedback to work teams and all employees.
• Recruit, retain, and develop top talent.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of leadership experience in a food, feed, or related industrial environment, or
• High School Diploma/GED and 4+ years of leadership in a manufacturing environment.
• Candidates in the rotational Land O' Lakes programs (TAP/MMT/DMT) will be considered.
• Advanced Safety training, HACCP training/certifications, and feed manufacturing experience preferred.

$70,800 - $106,200

Schedule

Sunday-Thursday 4pm - 12am and some weekend work due to seasonality and demand.
