Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the evening activities of CNC operators on the 2nd shift.
- Plan and prioritize work orders to meet production deadlines.
- Monitor CNC machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
- Maintain quality standards by inspecting parts and implementing quality control procedures.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate CNC operators to improve skills and productivity.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve manufacturing challenges.
- Understand how to setup and operate various CNC Machines.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and reports.
- Enforce company policies and procedures related to safety, quality, and efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years proven experience supervising CNC machining operations, in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming, operation, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with programing software is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Commitment to safety and quality standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred.
Working Conditions
- Second shift hours, typically 3:00 PM to 12:30 AM Monday through Friday.
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
