• Promote safety to team members and serve as an example of prioritizing safety first
• Coach, teach, and train team members, including documentation, disciplinary actions, hiring, training, project management, maintenance, scheduling, and coordination with other departments
• Attend various daily huddles to support maintenance and organizational goals
• Participate in weekly Gemba Walks with the Plant Manager and occasional Gemba Walks with other team members
• Create, track, and achieve maintenance metrics
• Affirm team member schedules to align with equipment availability
• Create a sense of pride, ownership, and trust within the department and among operating departments
• Analyze causes of issues and implement corrective actions for recurring or significant problems
