About the role
The Supervisor-LifeLine holds a supervisory leadership position within LifeLine. They have 24/7 responsibility for executing specific duties related to the assigned base(s) area of operations.
Responsibilities
- Supports payroll, supplies, facility, and asset needs in support of their assigned team(s) and Manager-LifeLine.
- Pairs in employee relations, team member engagement, and key customer relationships, including outreach training.
- Owes staffing, team member recognition, rounding, and coaching for their assigned team members.
- Maintains clinical credentialing and actively staffs within their scope of practice in support of clinical operations at their assigned base(s).
- Promotes and ensures a safe environment for patients and their families, team members, and customers with the transport team.
- Serves as a champion for the IU Health Values and maintains constant focus on providing exceptional team member experience and support.
Requirements
- A high school diploma/GED is required.
- An associate's degree is preferred.
- Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Must hold current paramedic licensure, certifications, and maintain education requirements as defined within clinical scope of practice to meet requirements of paramedic licensure.
