Supervisor / Laboratory Technical Consultant (Total Protein Testing Experience Required)

This position is a second-shift role and requires availability to work evening hours and rotating weekends. Applicants must be available to meet these established scheduling requirements. This position is eligible for a $2000 Sign-on Bonus!

Qualifications

For this role, include one of the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Hard Science and 2 years of Lab Experience
• Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or similar with 4 years of Lab Experience
• 48 Semester hours of Hard Science or Medical Laboratory Science coursework with 2 years of Lab Experience

About the Role

Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high-quality plasma you collect will become life-changing medicines. You will report to the Center Manager and oversee the general management of employees assigned to the production areas. BioLife Plasma Services is a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd.

Responsibilities

• Oversee employee performance and scheduling
• Lead Inventory Control efforts and operational initiatives
• Work with donors to resolve concerns
• Analyze opportunities specific to non-conforming events
• Perform all tasks for Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing areas
• Foster teamwork, communicate, and resolve conflicts

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
• Frequent bending and reaching
• Ability to walk and stand for entire shift, frequent lifting to 32 pounds and occasional lifting to 50 pounds
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to monitor equipment from a distance
• Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, prolonged glove wear is required

Pay

For Location: USA - UT - Riverton

U.S. Hourly Wage Range: $22.80 - $31.35

The estimated hourly wage range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
