Supervisor Laboratory Services
About the role
The Lab Supervisor at St. Luke's Health - Memorial - San Augustine will oversee laboratory operations, personnel, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in biological or chemical sciences, or related field, and at least five years of laboratory experience.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and review the performance of laboratory personnel
- Oversee day-to-day operations and personnel decisions
- Analyze and interpret laboratory results
- Administer laboratory inventories
- Select appropriate test methodologies
- Verify test procedures and establish laboratory performance characteristics
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in biological or chemical sciences, as defined by CLIA, upon hire
- Minimum of five years at a moderate or high complexity laboratory, upon hire
- International Medical Laboratory Scientist (ASCP-IMLS), upon hire
- One year experience as a supervisor or higher

Pay
The posted compensation range is $35.53 - $52.85 /hour, reflecting the company's good faith belief in the market rate for this position.
Schedule
The position is full-time with an 80-hour work week, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
