Supervisor Imaging Tech Operations

As our Imaging Services Supervisor, you will thoughtfully oversee all specialized, administrative, and regulatory operations, ensuring seamless and patient-centered service delivery. Every day you will champion your team, proactively advocating for their needs, ideas, and concerns directly to leadership. Leveraging your exceptional communication skills, you will adeptly navigate challenging conversations and serve as a dedicated educator, utilizing every interaction to enhance understanding of patient, staff, and organizational needs. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate both competence and confidence, effectively managing your team through clear communication, robust performance management, strategic hiring, and comprehensive training initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all specialized, administrative, and regulatory operations within imaging services.
• Ensure seamless and patient-centered service delivery.
• Advocate for team needs, ideas, and concerns to leadership.
• Navigate challenging conversations and serve as an educator for staff, patients, and organizational needs.
• Manage team performance through clear communication, performance management, strategic hiring, and training.

Requirements

• Satisfactory completion of a formal AMA school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• One (1) year of supervisor or lead experience.
• One of the following certifications:
  • Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT)
  • Registered Technologist Magnetic Resonance Imaging
  • Medical Radiographer: CA
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
  • Registered Technologist Cardio Interventional Radiography
  • Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Registered Technologist Mammography
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy and physiology for imaging, proper operation and care of radiology diagnostic equipment, and radiation safety.
• Expertise in digital imaging applications such as PACS, RIS, EMR, and other technical applications to support imaging modalities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience as a technologist.
• One (1) year of experience in an outpatient environment.
• Bachelor of Science in Health Management or Business Administration.
• Billing and coding experience, with an understanding of radiology exams and procedures.

Pay

$49.78 - $74.05 per hour
