Supervisor Imaging
About the role
Responsible for developing, achieving, and maintaining the goals of assigned Imaging units. Coordinates the daily activities of the units, in addition to performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in assigned areas. Provides leadership in the Imaging department, utilizing people, technology, and financial resources to efficiently provide services. Consistently promotes a positive work environment by being visible and available to all levels of staff and customers.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements unit goals and objectives.
- Coordinates the daily activities of the units.
- Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in assigned areas.
- Provides leadership in the Imaging department.
- Utilizes people, technology, and financial resources to efficiently provide services.
- Promotes a positive work environment.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience as an imaging tech, with 1 year of supervisory experience preferrably.
- ARRT, ARDMS, CNMT, Registered Diagnostic, Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or via CCI as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) registry in at least one of assigned modalities (X-Ray, MRI, CT, US, Nuc Med, & Mammo departments).
- Efficiency in time management skills and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- HS/GED required.
- BLS (AHA), required.
- Bachelor's degree, preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Sedentary work -(prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10lbs force occasionally)
