Supervisor II, Production - 2nd shift: Monday-Friday

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Ensure effective employee relations. Provide employee coaching and development. Resolve employee issues. Complete objective setting and performance reviews in a timely manner.
- Ensure the Environmental, Health and Safety framework is understood and followed by all employees. Ensure a Zero Harm work environment!
- Build accident reports and perform accident investigations. Implement corrective actions.
- Balance quality, efficiency, cost, delivery, and employee morale to achieve desired results in all areas. Work to continuously improve all areas. Follow lean manufacturing methods (lean daily management, eliminate waste, make problems visible etc.)
- Ensure all regulatory requirements are met (complete and accurate training records, MPS, SOP’s, work instructions, DHR, signature records). Participate in Be-Ready quality audits.
- Review production plan, moving labor to meet schedule attainment.
- Handle departmental performance metrics, including Tier 1 (cell measure boards) and Tier 2 (Gemba boards).
- Provide leadership to the Gemba teams by conducting daily meetings, weekly project meetings and 5S audits.
What You’ll Bring:
- HS diploma / GED with 7 or more years of leadership experience OR Associate’s degree with 3 or more years of leadership experience.
- Experience in Manufacturing/Production environment desired.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and mentoring skills.
- Ability to problem solve and work cross-functionally.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
- Strong supervisory and leadership abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Adept at balancing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent time management.
- Process improvement mentality.
Physical Requirements:
- Natural or corrected near-distance visual acuity of 20/25 and the ability to differentiate between colors.
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
- Must have good hand to eye coordination and dexterity.
- Dynamic Lifting capability: Must have the ability to lift 40 pounds at a time.
