Supervisor II - Dock
Supervises and Coordinates Activities
Oversees all Dock Dept. supervisors.
Schedules material, training and readiness for Dock team functionality.
Compiles special or routine reports for all Dock dept. related activity for management regarding financial or operational matters of assigned area and multiple shifts.
Management and Clients
Provides management and clients with real-time information on work in progress and any active work stoppages that affect Service Level Agreement.
Escalation Point
Primary Escalation point for any damage, quality, safety, or performance related issues within the Dock Dept.
Analysis and Prioritization
Analyzes various customer provided forecasts to align with local client Hardware Operations team to determine priorities, assignments and work methods required to meet schedules, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
Inventory Process
Analyses delivery and shipment history to resolve discrepancies between stock control records and inventory on hand; accountable for accurate, up-to-date records and stock.
Safety Measures
Inspires and ensures adequate safety measures are followed to protect client property and personnel.
Quality Control
Inspects inbound material and escalates quality issues found during receipt inspection and prior to dock activity. Advises subordinates with questions or problems in any aspect of work activities.
Work Organization
Organizes layout of workstations, material storage areas, tools, and coordinates with other vendors for usage of shared spaces.
Maintains monitoring of work and client troubleshooting software for work stoppages and examines records for accuracy, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.
Stock Replenishment
Participates in ordering of stock items to replenish levels.
Standardization
Ensures standardization of all Dock dept. activities and processes across all shifts and server platforms.
Deliverables and Achievables
Recommends and implements new or changes to procedures to improve efficiency.
Final Quality control for Dock dept. activity prior to handoff to client.
Trains Dock Dept. supervisors, team leads, and associates.
Qualifications
- Solid interpersonal and analytical skills are required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
- Generally prefer 3-6 years’ experience in material handling operations, with at least 3 years supervisory experience in Data Center Operations.

The individual in this position must be capable of performing all of the essential functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Pay
For this position, the expected base pay range is $73,000.00 – $85,000.00 Annual. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
