Requirements

• Effective July 1, 2025, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented in response to the status of the State budget. PLP 2025 requires that each full-time employee receive a 3% reduction in pay in exchange for five (5) hours of PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027.
• Salaries do not reflect the recent changes.
• Limited Term 12 months. May be extended additional 12 months or become permanent.

Pay

The position(s) is eligible for hybrid telework, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment. Telework may be offered for 1 day a week with 4 days in office.

Working Conditions About the location – Peace Officer Selection and Employee Development – Office of Training and Professional Development – Correctional Training Center prepares cadets to become Correctional Officers by providing on-site institutional training. The Correctional Training Center also provides training for current CDCR staff with a variety of specialized custody trainings to assist in strengthening their skills physically and mentally. Campus like setting Free on-site parking On-site cafeteria available Free on-site gym and track accessible to staff Close to Hwy 99 exit 20 minutes south of Elk Grove and/or 20 minutes north of Lodi.
