About the role
The Supervisor I (Sup) oversees and supervises personnel and programs within the Management Services Branch of the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC).
Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise the personnel and programs within the Management Services Branch.
- Program responsibility and oversight of operations of the CPUC's Fleet, Records Retention, and Forms Management units.
Requirements

Qualifications
Applicants must submit a completed Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) and a resume. The SOQ must be no smaller than 11-point Arial font, single-spaced, and no more than two pages. It should provide specific details and examples demonstrating how the applicant's training, experience, and education qualify them for the position.
Skills
Experience with developing and maintaining operational or process manuals, internal resources, and ensuring compliance with policies and processes is required. Experience with change management and managing conflict is also beneficial.
Benefits
The position offers benefits including personal leave under the Personal Leave Program (PLP) 2025, which temporarily reduces state employee pay in exchange for leave hours to help address budget shortfalls. Salary ranges in this posting exclude the temporary reduction.
Pay
The starting salary range for this position is $7,172.00 - $8,910.00 per month, effective July 1, 2025.
Schedule
The position is full-time and works a hybrid schedule.
