About the role

This position provides direction within a limited discipline area, primarily supervising activities that support the Human Resource departmental, discipline, or project objectives.

  • Interact and support department managers and Human Resource employees
  • Maintain a close working relationship with discipline management to ensure services are properly executed and company needs are met
  • Establish yourself as an expert in your field with your direct manager and colleagues
  • Coordinate with your direct manager to provide solutions for discipline-specific issues related to overall company initiatives
  • May function as a team leader for discipline-specific initiatives
  • Work with your manager to direct specific initiatives for communication, training, and metrics related to your discipline
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in an applicable field of study and seven years of work-related experience, or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eleven years if non-degreed (some locations may have additional or different qualifications)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
  • Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in HR, Psychology, Education, Business, or a related field, with significant Human Resources experience
  • Advanced degree or global equivalent preferred
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification or applicable HR accreditation
  • Problem-solving, communication, judgment, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to provide analysis, conclusions, and recommendations
  • Knowledge of cultures and cross-cultural collaboration
  • Ability to build trusting relationships, gain credibility, and partner with leaders and peers
  • Demonstrated discretion with confidential company and employee information
  • Experience providing consultation to managers and HR staff about HR strategy and program implementation
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient computer and software skills, including word processing, email, spreadsheets, and electronic presentations
  • Broad knowledge of internal database applications for the designated discipline

Pay

Salary range: $83,000.00 – $154,000.00. The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; final salary is determined by candidate qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions.

Background checks are carried out as part of any conditional offer made, including education, professional registration, employment, references, passport verifications, and Global Watchlist screening. Candidates must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.
