About the Role

Supervise Broadband Specialist IV, V, and Headend technicians. Oversee HFC network projects and ensure employees are focused on correcting plant deficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the system techs are productive in their daily activities.
• Ensure the system techs are repairing the HFC plant correctly.
• Review daily reports to find area problems.
• Resolve trouble call escalations.
• Ensure the workforce is working in a safe & positive manner.
• Complete reports as needed.
• Hire, train, evaluate, and supervise technical staff and oversight of work schedules of technical staff.
• All other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Required: 5 years’ experience in the field with at least 2 of those years as a System Technician/Broadband Specialist IV.
• Preferred: 7 years’ experience.
• Strong project management & communication skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Must possess a strong desire to improve the network.
• Thorough HFC plant knowledge.
• Ability to work flexible work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $85,000. When making a job offer, we consider several factors in our determination, such as years of related work experience; relevant skills and qualifications; education level; and certifications/licenses.
