Supervisor, Foundry - 3rd Shift

We have an opportunity in our Stainless Foundry for a hands-on 3rd Shift Foundry Supervisor. This position is responsible for safety, quality, productivity, and cost of the 3rd shift operation, with flexibility to work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Investigate problems to ensure proper corrective action is implemented, reducing or eliminating non-conforming parts and production interruptions.
• Manage all hiring, training, and day-to-day activities of direct reports to attain department goals.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of foundry experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
• An undergraduate Engineering degree, a four-year Technical degree, or equivalent foundry-related experience plus coursework.
• Experience in employee training.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing and 5S programs.
• Basic computer skills (knowledge of Excel and Word).

Schedule

• Primarily 3rd shift, with flexibility to work 1st or 2nd shift as needed.
