As a Supervisor of Food and Nutrition, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing operations. You will assist with the development of menus and establish and maintain standards for food purchasing, storage, preparation, and more. Analyze the department's operations and re-evaluate the quality of services. Develop and implement job routines and procedures to increase efficiency and uphold the highest level of customer service. Identify and address opportunities to reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve service, helping us build on success as a world-class hospital.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and oversee food and nutrition operations
- Assist with menu development
- Establish and maintain standards for food purchasing, storage, and preparation
- Analyze department operations and evaluate service quality
- Develop and implement job routines and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer service
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve service
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in food service for retail and patient services
- Hospitality and supervisory-related experience
Qualifications
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree.

Pay
Salary Range: $66,300–$89,000/Annual
Schedule
Full-Time - Rotating Shift including Weekdays, Weekends, and Holidays
Please note: This role requires on-site presence, so all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
