Supervises daily staff activities within Facilities Management.

Responsibilities

• Communicates and coordinates activities with customers and determines required staffing assignments and levels.
• Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.
• Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
• Assesses quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs.
• Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures and protocols.
• Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
• Assists with competencies, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.

Requirements

Education And Certification Requirements: Vocation Technical: Trades (Required).

Required Work Experience: Three (3) years work experience in a trade specialty; HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry, Electrical and Mechanical systems. Three (3) Years Leadership Experience Preferred. Experience in a Medical Facility preferred.

Other Information: Licensed tradesperson or Journeyperson preferred.

Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
