About the role

Our leaders shape strategic initiatives, develop passionate teams, and work to improve health outcomes. The Supervisor-Facilities assists in planning, coordinating, and supervising the overall operation and maintenance of buildings and grounds. In this role, the position organizes work, estimates worker-hour requirements, and delegates work to technicians within the area. Additionally, it schedules preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems, including mechanical and electrical.

The position trains technicians in general repair and maintenance using operating manuals, work orders, and blueprints, while also assisting technicians as needed with maintenance calls, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repair of various utility systems.

Reports to: Manager-Facilities

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Associate's Degree in applicable discipline (Preferred)
• Valid driver’s license
• Advanced knowledge of specialized areas including electrical secondary systems, plumbing systems, fire system devices, air systems, and HVAC-related systems
• Ability to read and interpret information from complex blueprints, schematics, and diagrams
• In-depth knowledge of hazardous material management, NFPA Life Safety Code, State Fire Marshall, and NFPA 99 requirements
• Comprehensive understanding of codes and regulations associated with maintenance utility operation, including JCAHO, SDOH, OSHA, and other federal, state, and local agencies
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience leading teams
• 5 years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or other utility systems
