Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA, is hiring a Supervisor for Environmental Services. This is a full time, evening shift (2nd) position, but will also have oversight over the 3rd shift. Hours Monday - Friday: 3pm - 11:30pm with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assists the manager in planning, organizing, supervising, coordinating and controlling the activities of the department functions which are necessary to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Participate in the work activities of assigned teams through providing assistance, serving as technical resource and participating in the work as a member of the team.
• Contributes to the success of the department through effective work coordination, management of resources, and participation in goal accomplishment.
• Support and communicates Sentara mission, values, goals, and directions to assigned team members.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)
• Some College (Preferred)
• 1 year of Supervisory experience (Required)
• Previous housekeeping/ESD experience (Strongly Preferred)
