Supervisor Environmental Services
About the role
The Environmental Services Supervisor at Holy Cross Hospital Davis provides day-to-day supervision for the EVS department under guidance of Director and/or Manager. They ensure a consistently high level of environmental hygiene and aesthetics to patients, visitors, and staff. This position also oversees regulatory standards, financial stewardship of department operations, and collaborates with other management team members to support the department.
Responsibilities
- Trains and develops a highly equipped and engaged Environmental Services Team using evidence-based techniques, process, and mission metrics (KPIs).
- Supervises the necessary resources needed for the Environmental Services department under their control and makes recommendations to hiring, promoting, and annual staff performance reviews.
- Supervises a waste program that separates, packages, and disposes of all waste according to all regulations.
- Performs quality improvement initiatives under direction of EVS manager/director. Conducts rounding activities to ensure environmental hygiene in all areas assigned. Prepares necessary reporting to manager(s) and document results.
- Conducts ES Survey required reports. E.G. Standard work audits, Direct Observations, Fluorescent Marker, Clean Trace ATP.
- Supervises the bed tracking system and ensures EVS response times are achieved. Prepare reports to document results, collaborating with the EVS manager to develop improvement activities.

Pay
The posted compensation range for this position is $19.96 - $31.01 per hour, reflecting the lowest and highest pay CommonSpirit Health believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit Health may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Schedule
The Environmental Services Supervisor works evenings and is based in Layton, Utah. The schedule is 80 hours per pay period and operates on a shift of Evening.
