About the role
The anticipated pay range for this position is $60,200.00-111,800.00 Annual. The schedule is M-F from 8:30-5 pm and can be on-site, hybrid, or remote depending on your location.
Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and develop a team of 10–20 collections agents to achieve individual and team performance goals.
- Monitor daily collection activities and ensure productivity, quality, and compliance standards are met.
- Handle and resolve escalated customer or client issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Review accounts receivable aging reports and implement strategies to reduce outstanding balances.
- Ensure adherence to healthcare insurance billing and collections processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (billing, finance, operations) to resolve discrepancies and improve workflows.
- Track and analyze performance metrics (KPIs) and provide regular reporting to management.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement development plans for team members.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and drive operational efficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies as well as healthcare and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in collections.
- Proven experience in healthcare insurance collections (highly preferred).
- Basic knowledge of healthcare processes, billing, and collections.
- Strong experience managing collections teams in a high-volume environment.
- Experience handling escalations and complex account issues.
