Job Summary

Captures and oversees the daily operations of outpatient practices. Supervises clinical support staff, including all applicable human resource processes and practice operational duties.

Essential Functions

  • Recruits, hires, evaluates, trains, and develops support staff.
  • Serves as day-to-day supervisor and provides direction to support staff.
  • Schedules and coordinates work assignments and monitors performance.
  • Maintains and coordinates managed care/billing functions, including referral process, insurance verification, registration, cash collection, encounter forms, and billing.
  • Manages operational functions such as patient scheduling, wait times, staff coverage, ancillary tests, follow-up appointments, phone systems, transcription services, and volume issues.
  • Maintains and orders office supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in a related field preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
