Surgery Colon and Rectal Physician
Job Summary
Mission Health is seeking an experienced, board certified, and fellowship trained, colon and rectal surgeon, to join our busy and expanding surgical specialists’ team in Asheville, North Carolina.
Qualified Candidates
- Fellowship trained in colon and rectal surgery
- Board certified in general surgery; board eligible/board certified in colorectal surgery
- Praising practicing physicians preferred; ideally three (3) to eight (8) years’ experience
- New graduates, completing Fellowship training, evaluated on a case-by-case basis
Position Highlights
- Mission Surgery is comprised of five (5) surgical specialists and four (4) advanced practice providers, focusing on all areas of general surgery
- Subspecialties include MIS, colorectal and hepatobiliary
- Sixteen (16) dedicated da Vinci Robotic surgical systems
- Two to three (2-3) OR days per week
- One to two (1-2) Clinic days per week
- Call - Group Only; no EGS; No ER; Residents or APPs take 1st call
