About the role

The West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Surgery, Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery seek a Colorectal Surgeon (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV. Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may also be assigned to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent
• Eligible to obtain a state medical license
• Board certified/eligible in general surgery
• Completed a colon and rectal surgery fellowship by the time of appointment
• Demonstrated track-record of leadership
• Excellent communication skills
• Publishations in high-impact journals (for appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor rank)
