Physician - Colorectal Surgeon

About the role

The AtlantiCare Health System is recruiting a fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon to provide expert care to patients in southeastern New Jersey. A successful candidate will have both excellent foundation of operative and clinical skills and a collaborative approach to patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert care to patients in southeastern New Jersey
  • Join a rapidly expanding and comprehensive colorectal surgery practice
  • Work closely with the Committee on Cancer accredited AtlantiCare Cancer Center for robust, multi-disciplinary care of patients with colon, rectal, and anal cancer
  • Offer access for elective and emergent robotic surgery (including SP platform)
  • Enjoy living and working in Egg Harbor Township, just minutes from the Jersey Shore's beautiful beaches and within easy reach of Philadelphia and New York City

Requirements

  • Fellowship-trained in colorectal surgery
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Surgery
  • Excellent foundation of operative and clinical skills
  • A collaborative approach to patient care

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree
  • Current Medical License in New Jersey
  • Experience in colorectal surgery preferred

Skills

  • Robotic surgery skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
